This past May I took a trip to Florida with my daughter and niece. It was something different for me as my husband has always been with me when travelling. My daughter planned the trip and asked if I'd come along, so I stepped out and went solo :) I even had to rent a car and do all the driving, that was a big deal for me too, as my husband always does the driving on any trips we take. I'm usually the one that just sits back and takes in all the scenery and halts the car here and there for photo opportunities.
We had an awesome time and couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. It was great hanging out with my daughter and niece. We think we should make it a yearly trip for all the women in the family :)
After our trip to Florida I was able to spend a couple weeks at home, getting some things done around the house and spending time with family and friends. It was good for my heart.
